"Your purpose is the root of your efforts. How stable is your tree?"

I’m a 23 year old R&B and Hip-Hop artist who uses music as my outlet to document my life as I seek to inspire generations to be more self aware in their pursuit of fulfillment. I also aim to grow spiritually and bring people closer to God in a way that is received whole heartedly and not forcefully. A wise man once told me “He who is convinced against their will, is of the same opinion still”. So for that I chose to use my story as a canvas and guide to my followers to show fulfillment can only really be achieved through the most high not anything tangible here on earth. In my content not only do I speak on my faith but I tell stories through vulnerable perspectives that reach the minds and hearts of those who can relate. When I was about 18 I performed at my church’s music festival. There was a lady singing the song with me word for word. I was so mesmerized at how she picked up the words so quickly. And as she sang, she began to cry. Tears of joy in her heart from something I wrote when I cried tears of pain. At that moment I realized how important the power of words and influence really are.With that, I made it my mission to push the boundaries of the form of content that is displayed in a culture as influential as Hip-Hop and R&B. In my culture growing up, therapy wasn’t affordable nor was it the most promoted as a popular source for mental healing and growth.
